Cycled Thoughts Series

I try not to throw anything away. My studio, home, and basement is filled with an enormous amount of materials that I think can be used in my artwork. I am involved in the current "handmade" art/craft movement and encourage everyone to explore their creative side and make artwork of their own. I am currently renovating a gallery which I hope to have open this summer. I focus on artwork made with natural and/or recycled materials, along with artwork made by emerging artists. I aim to change the norms of the art world in order to focus more on the welfare of the artist. My goal is to break the stereotype of "starving artist" along with striving for earth-friendly art and design.
