Seeing Shadow

Recently, I have been working with imagery based on my childhood memories. Thinking about my past has helped me rediscover knitting, which is something I learned from my grandmother as a child.

I covered my jute shadow in eyes to emphasize that my body is a source of knowledge. It is one thing to know something with your mind, but a very different thing to know something with your body--your whole self.
