Location, Location, Location

This painting was finished in March of 2005, the funny thing is that I had no idea what it was about and that May 2005 my husband and I decided mutually to separate and sell our amazing home.
That painting has since sold, but it has become an icon for me as I am still looking for a home and it is 2009.
I do believe that my paintings unravel stories for me without paying attention to chronological time.
This one is an example of that process. I don't question the creative ways, I just try very hard to listen with an open mind.
