Mask

Imagine me a poet
not being able to say
how much I miss you
so I`m coming striaght
not going to hide myself
in mask or methaphors
not going to couch myself
in images of your dawn
or the softness of your night

imagine me a poet
not being able to say
how much I love you
maybe it`s because
I know you can`t feel the same
and I wasn`t looking for forevers...

imagine me so detached
falling for you
seeing down to your soul
and wanting to touch what lay so deep
imagine me so detached
wishing you`d be the one
to fill the empty faces
of my dream

and i wasn`t looking
for forevers or tomorrows
until you cracked my mask
and left me open and gentle.
