The International Museum of Women and the San Francisco Arts Commission Gallery's Art at City Hall program are pleased to present: 

Picturing Power & Potential is a large-scale juried photo exhibition with over 50 extraordinary and moving works by artists across the globe celebrating women as economic participants and agents of change. The exhibition is on display online at IMOW.org and was exhibited at San Francisco City Hall from June 15, 2010 to August 27, 2010.

Picturing Power & Potential is the first in a series of special projects of IMOW's global online exhibition, Economica: Women and the Global Economy. Economica showcases women's diverse roles as economic change-agents, entrepreneurs, business leaders, caregivers, workers and investors, and asks powerful and provocative questions on critical economic topics from philanthropy to macro-economy. Economica offers vibrant photo slideshows, podcasts from leading activists and thinkers, museum-curated content and community submitted artwork. Be part of a global conversation and reimagine the world's economy through women's eyes by participating in our community forum, commenting on a story, or submitting your own work to Economica!

Picturing Power & Potential was on display in San Francisco City Hall, located at 1 Dr. Carlton B. Goodlett Place in the Civic Center, from June 15 to August 27, 2010.

COMMUNITY CHOICE AWARDSFrom June 15-September 6, the International Museum of Women hosted a Community Choice Awards contest for Picturing Power & Potential, inviting viewers to comment on and recommend their favorite images, with a Grand Prize Winner selected at the end of the contest period.

On September 6, 2010, Brenda Paik Sunoo was chosen as the Grand Prize Winner of the Picturing Power & Potential Community Choice Awards.
