About Me:
Born Toledo, Ohio, USA, art classes for children at Toledo Museum of Art
1982-Bachelor of Fine Arts degree California College of Arts & Crafts.
1983-5--graduate Philosophy studies San Francisco State University, M.A. Museum Studies John F. Kennedy University. Internship led to Museum Registrar position for the City and County of San Francisco Arts Commission.
1985-1990 restoration of sculpture. Painting, darkroom/ studio photography in live-work studio in the San Francisco bay area.
1991-1995 expatriate Japan, India, China, writing, teaching, studying Eastern philosophies, Japanese, Mandarin languages
1995-2005 returned expatriate, writing, painting mini-DV film projects, producer San Francisco Public access TV. Headlined Juice series of performances at the Jon Sims Center for the Arts in San Francisco.
2001-2004-(3 years)-studied with poet & writer Diane diPrima.
2005-to 2009--inherit house in Ohio, draw & paint full time
1982-1991 exhibited in juried shows, CCAC gallery, Rayko Gallery in San Francisco, group exhibits in the cities of San Jose, Santa Cruz, Oakland, CA.
1994-2007--Selected Collections & Publications: art in fine arts journal in Ireland, titled Artists Pages. First & 2nd volume of my book of poems titled, Erratic Sleep in A Cold Hotel. Widely published in small press literary anthologies and literary journals, voice and film in UK based Showcase Programme Exchange archive. Frida Kahlo Mail Art Expo in Milan, Italy and in color exhibition catalog.
