About Me:
As a women's rights activist for over 15 years, Masum is excited to be bringing together her skills and experience as a researcher, educator, and social justice advocate as curator of the Women, Power and Politics exhibition. A daughter of South Asian immigrants to the United States, she has long been a student of how people in different cultural contexts share similarities and differences in their world views. Dedicated to bringing together the best of theory and practice in accessible and effective ways, Masum has an honors bachelor's degree in Public Policy and Feminist Studies from Stanford University, and a master's in Education and a doctorate in Human Development and Psychology from Harvard University. She is a graduate of the Coro Fellows Program in Public Affairs and currently serves on the board of the Third Wave Foundation. My I'm passionate about:
As Curator of Women, Power and Politics for the International Museum of Women, a board member of the Third Wave Foundation, and as a public intellectual.
