I first learned about the International Museum of Women through Liza Gesuden, my Honors English teacher, when it was introduced as part of our class. After reading through the stories and delving deep into some of the issues presented, it was our turn to make some noise about it.

I am a female photographer living in the San Francisco Bay Area, so what better way to express how I feel than through the lens of my camera? I chose to focus on the theme of "Power" from "Women, Power and Politics", and I put together this short slideshow. "Reflections on Power" is my take on the idea of power, and how it can be found where one least expects it.
