Goddess on Earth

I have been working for the past 7 years on a photographic project - Goddess on Earth; Portraits of the Divine Feminine in Contemporary Women. It has evolved over the years and is currently being seen at Riverspace Arts in Nyack as a multi-media installation, incorporating video, stills, and text.

My vision for the project is for it to become a traveling "sanctuary"; where women, and men, can contemplate, be inspired by and revel in the Divine Feminine. Goddess on Earth highlights the diversity of the metropolitan New York community – one third of the portraits are ethnically and culturally diverse local women- and reflect the power and strength of these women. Each of the more than 70 women portrayed is both a collaborator and author: for it is their words, wisdom and photographic images that the audience responds to.
