Blossoms of Silence was filmed in December, 2008. This short film focuses on Dalia, a young Jordanian woman struggling to cope after she is raped. Her wish to reach out to others and move on with her life conflicts with her family's desire to conceal the crime and avoid embarrassment.

Dalia's story, while fictional, is directly relevant to the many young girls who live in silence to avoid the possibly tragic consequences of their judgmental societies. We hope this story will raise awareness and bring these issues out into the open.
