Still Waiting

I see females of all ages in the developing world struggling against poverty. Lack of clean water, electricity and basic health care add to the difficulties of everyday life. These women are resourceful and hardworking, yet are not presented with the opportunities to utilize their talents and wisdom. When so much time and energy is spent on day to day existence, there is little left for change. Women need to be respected for the contributions they make and the potential they have for growth. Their communities need their abilities to improve the quality of life for all. This creates what I refer to as the economics of survival.
