The International Museum of Women is pleased to present 

Your Voices: On Motherhood

Your Voices: On Motherhood is a curated online exhibition of over 30 extraordinary and compelling works by artists across the globe on the topic of motherhood. Your Voices: On Motherhood is a special preview exhibition in advance of our 2012 flagship online exhibition MAMA: Motherhood Around the Globe. Your Voices: On Motherhood will be on display online at exhibitions.globalfundforwomen.org/yourvoicesonmotherhood through January 2012 only; after that time work included in Your Voices: On Motherhood will become part of the online exhibition MAMA: Motherhood Around the Globe.

Your Voices: On Motherhood is the result of a global call for submissions to artists, writers, journalists, and photographers around the world, asking questions related to modern motherhood and on a variety of topics, including motherhood and identity, work, health, pregnancy, alternative mothering, generational differences, and much more. IMOW curated a selection of 30 stories out of nearly 600 submissions received from around the globe.

COMMUNITY CHOICE AWARD

One of the 30 artists included in Your Voices: On Motherhood exhibition will win a US$1,000 cash prize--and you can help choose who by participating in our Community Choice Award contest, launching January 2012!

A prestigious global jury will select FIVE stories from those included in Your Voices: On Motherhood. Those five stories will be eligible for the US$1,000 Community Choice Award. The winner of the award will be chosen by audience vote, to commence January 18, 2012.
