I've lived in Peru for three years and have taken portraits of women of Peru. They are of different ages, have different economic realities, are daughters, mothers, grandmothers, and are all working in different activities.

In the case of Peru, they are undoubtedly a very important part of the economic engine whether they are working paid jobs or unpaid jobs at home. Their efforts are improving the many aspects of Peru's society, family life, and work environments.
